Dashboard Side Panel On Top

hi guys,

my dashboard side panel beside the little window has lifted up,

when i push down on either side it pops up in the middle and wont stay down any suggestions on how to keep it in place?

My Auris doesn't have one of these, but then you drive a corrola?

I havent got the same problem,but by what you say if is popping up there must be either a clip misaligned maybe or missing somehow,if your careful is there a way you can slightly prise it up to have a look underneath to see whats holding it or jamming it?
