Do My 2008 1.4 D4D Auris Hace Dpf

hi i cant seem to find any where if my 2008 tr auris 1.4 d4d 5speed has (dpf) diesel particulate filter or not , can anyone tell me or how will i know for sure i need to know as i dont want to pul in wrong engine oil

Have you ever had a noticable regen process where your car puffs out black soot? If never experienced that chances are you dont have it..

Main dealer may verify for you...

Go onto the Opie Oils site and check there or the Mobil or Castrol site... Dont think you'll go far wrong with Mobil 1 ESP as its a C2 spec for DPF...

No it hasn't got a DPF or DPNR. Use 5w30 ACEA B1/2, C2

ok so i take it that my auris dont have dpf, now can you tell me do it take semi synthitic oil or fully synthitic thanks guys

Either is fine, fully synthetics are better than they used to be but are very expensive. At work (Toyota dealer) we use 5w30 Mobil Formula P ESP. Good oil.

It is worth forking out for a genuine filter too.
