7 Year Extended Warranty - Does It Exist?

Hi,

I have a D4D 2.0 Jan 07 facelift model - 90,000 miles. Sounds like a front wheel bearing might be on the way out. Is this something that might be repaired under the 7 year/112,000 mile warranty I have read about? Does this warranty actually exist?

Thanks

Paul

the 7 year/112k extended warranty refers to the engine problems on the D4Ds of that age caused by carbon stamping etc. - it doesn't apply to your wheel bearing issue.

Of course you may also have paid for a Toyota extended warranty (you can take them out until 7 years old or 100k) but I don't know if it would be covered under that.

If you have Manufacturer extended warranty, bearing will be covered. Things that are not covered are consumables, tyers bulbs etc. (it suppose to have the same level of cover as he first 3/5 years)
