Leaving Car For 6Months - What To Do?

Can anyone tell me the best approach for leaving a car for a long period - 6 months?

Is it better to unplug the Battery or is it better to have someone turn the engine every so often?

If I just unplug the Battery will there be other problems with the car when it is reconnected?

Thanks.

I'd have someone you trust to give the car a run (As long as they are insured and legal of course) so it keeps every thing nice and free...

If left unattended for 6 months, worst things that could happen would be :

Battery being drained (recharge),

Radio memory being reset (re-save settings),

Drivers side power window being reset (set the max up/down position for it to function properly)

And if left standing outside, maybe needing a car wash :P

Might get a bit mouldy inside if everything is left closed.

Also, tyres might not be at there best if it's left sitting on them.
