Spring time is here....Praise the Lord.....Bit of luck today....My local garage where I squandred all my hard earned cash on that old Zafira of mine took pity on me and changed my Summer Tyres for free.....then on the way out of the village I narrowly escaped a speeding fine from the IKEA Plod.....thank God the Rav isn't any faster.....Even gave it a wee scrub too! Love those standard alloys....very simple and look great!....Drives much quieter and smoother with Summer tyres on....should see a wee bit of an improvement on th MPG too!

Drive Safe!

Cheers A

I put mine back on last week and while the Winter Tyres do their job, the Summer Tyres do feel a whole lot better AND boost that MPG :D

Aye Charlie but yours don't have metal studs on both sides of each tyre! hahahaha they can get on yer wick after a while and do add a bit of extra percussion of road noise when there's no ice and snow on the deck!

Yes Mate Yours area totally different animal to our ones ! My Vredestien Wintracs were quieter than the run flat kit they replaced. The ride was and is far better.. My switch to Pirreli Scorpions is just about undetectable but the Vredestiens had a reputation for being a very quiet tyre

Well....still early days....I have Goodyear Wranglers all weathers on.....they have only done 4k and judging by the receipt in the logbook from the previous owner he paid £530 for 4!....one odd think I noticed is there is no directional arrow for mounting the tyre, which I have never seen before.....is this normal on 4x4 tyres?

Most the Tyres I've ever had haven't been directional. Must admit that's mostly 4x4s and vans, but I thought it's just because some Tyres are and some aren't?
