Happy Weekend Folks!

Was checking my service book and it looks as if my car is due a big service shortly...the 135k km ( 85k Mile ) full service. Can someone point me to a link or a previous posting which confirm what parts I need for this one! And since I got into so much trouble for a previous posting...I will be asking the Forum sponsor for a quote for this gear!

I downloaded the pdf of the servoce charts from the forum....but that disnae make any sense to an idjit like me! hahaha

I already changed the engine oil and filter and cabin filter.....so am guessing that I will need spark plugs....and changing of all other fluids brake and transmission...and a general check of brakes and pads and the like.....

Thanks in advance,

A

After owning a diesel Zafira.......at least owning the Steve Austin isnae gonna cost me 6 Million dollars to keep on the road!

Don't know if you caught any of my previous postings...but av been really chuffed with low cost of owning the wee Rav compared that heap of italian engine diesel pish!

Since buying it 6months ago.....av only had to put Petrol in it...and buy a Battery.....Jesus....it would have been cheaper to run a Porsche than owning a diesel engine Opel/Vauxhall! hahaha

Cheers

Neighbour has a Zafira on Contract hire Al....brand new and loves it, but I told them to look at internet / forums re the diesel one they have based solely on your waxing lyrical about its benefits....they willnae be buying one now.

@ Kev.....the latest Zaf 1.9cdti's should have cured the sh*t self destructing DMF's and EGR valves.....I had the Z19DTH engine.....whata pile of sh*t!!....Great when they work....but useless when they start to go....Contract hire is a good option for this car...I can tell you!....shame, cause the actual car itself drives really well...paintwork is shappy though....interior is pretty good but electrics and engine....total mince!

As for the service interval....am a bit confused...it says in the manual 15k km's for in between service and 30k km's for a big one.....looking at the stamps it has has had an in between at 13k km....full service at 47k km then another full service at 80k km then another full service at 100.5k km...then an intermediate at 119k km.....I changed the oild and filter at around 130 k km.....so I am reckoning that it now needs a full service at 135k km....although the book says it should have been done at 120k kms!......I have the toyota garage receipts for the one done last year April.....and that was just an oil and filter.....the receipt for the service in May 2010 was for a big one....brake fluid, spark plugs, Hypoy LS90? when it had done 101k km's.....so I reckon it's due another big one now as thats 35k km's....almost.....confused yet? hahaha......can't see that a fan belt...has ever been changed....if it has one! hahaha What d'ya all reckon then...A full Monty Steve Austin?
