Removing Rear Light Cluster Completely.

Hi Guys

Picked up my new car today but have noticed the rear light cluster is cracked quite badly inside. I have found plenty on eBay to replace it with but was wondering how I would go about removing it and replacing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Mike

If you look inside the boot there should be 2 clip on plastic panels, one either side of the boot directly behind each light,if you get that off you should have a better view of whats going on,you would have to remove the main wiring plug as well but that will unclip and pull out, usually a small tab has to be pushed done on the plug to release it.

Im not sure how many nuts hold the cluster in maybe 3 or 4,they are 10mm i think some will be easy to see through the panel hole, some you may have to get into a strange position in the boot to see properly, but once they are all removed the cluster should just pull forward clear of the hole, just be careful as there will be some kind of sponge seal there and you dont want to tear that when removing the light.

Thanks for this info, I'm only looking to replace the plastic cover so hopefully should be pretty straight forward :)
