Tuning Box?

Hi all,

I am just wondering if anybody has a tuning box fitted to their avensis estate and whether or not the benefits of one are as good as the companies claim they are!! If anybody has one fitted or knows of somebody with one fitted could you get back to me with differences in figures regarding mpg etc?? And also by how much the power is improved as avensis lack of power can be frustrating!!

I use a Tunit box on my Avensis T-180. Fantastic piece of kit that really does work. But a £485 a pop they are expensive unless you can pick one up off eBay! One was sold a few weeks back for £102! Bargin... Take a look at some of my posts and you'll see lots about the box...

Yeah I was looking for a relatively cheap one that is definately worthwhile getting. Cheers mate I'll have a look, any makes in particular that are good ones??

The one I've got is called TUNIT... I have them on both my cars. Avoid the cheap ones that you get alot of on eBay... Try a google search for TUNIT box and take a look at there web site and reviews in the motoring press. Also look on youtube for vids...

I HAVE one on my t180 . mine is a cheap crd-tuning one £139 and it works just fine .. i looked at tunit but the gains were

the lowest of them all .177bhp before and 196bhp after .. what gain do you think yours has have you had it on the rollers?
