Aygo Igntition Barrel

Hi Guys,

I have a 2006 Aygo and the ignition lock has started to catch around the first turn.

Do you know if its possible to remove just the barrel or will I have to replace the whole ignition unit with the security shear bolts and all?

I have tried the instructions from the Yaris manual that says put the ignition in the Acc position and press a screwdriver in the small on the top, but it doesnt seem to work. I think the Yaris key is different to the Aygo??

Mine did that on my 2007 reg Aygo. The garage did it under warranty two years ago. I realise yours is out but they told me it was just the barrel that needed replacing and said it was a 'quick' job. The key didn't change.
