Help With Secondary Air Pump Needed

Basically i bought a 2004 facelift corolla tsport recently and the previous owner has been a have-a-go-hero with his diy and tried to disconnect the secondary air injection system. Whilst doing so he has cut the wiring and removed all pipes and blocked them off. Now im getting engine check light along with VSC and TRC on my dash. Does anyone know if i can just remove the pump and use a resistor to trick the ECU? Sick of trying to fix it and getting nowhere :(

I tried the resistor trick and no dice so far, Lights came back on after 100 miles / few days.

I know this is a old post, but what size and value resister did you use?
