I think my clutch is on its way out... its on 68k....

Lots of questions eh? :)

put car in low gear. floor throttle. if lag between revs rising and car accelerating then clutch slipping and needs replacing.

Easy to change if you've got a basic set of tools and access to a pit or a lift. If you haven't then a garage will do it quickly.

A new clutch would be about £ 100 plus fitting.

Did mine on the turbo me and a mate did it with no pit or lift just a jack in 3 hours it aint that badder job. Contact Daveburwash on the Gtturbo site and he can hook you up with a cheap uprated one

although an uprated GT turbo clutch on an SR is overkill!

An ordinary GT clutch would be considered uprated!

Good point Andrew but then when a 35% uprated one is about £140-£150 then i thought it was a good buy
