Disconnecting The Battery

Does anyone have any experience of what happens if you have to disconnect the Battery on a 1998 Avensis. Book makes vailed threats about "don't you dare ever remove the Battery without contacting Toyota first and if you do various things will need resetting" , but what things and how??

Can anyone help

Ok You'll need to reset the Auto-mode for the drivers window, see the thread on that. Apart from that, radio codes are the only thing I can think of.. Mine was a 99 TD, and I had no problem except for the window which is now sorted..
