I celebrated yesterday and went to Alan Sugars restaurant in Chigwell, a treat from the missus , it was a fitting place to celebrate my birthday because it is the same venue as where we held our wedding reception all those years ago before it was bought by Sir Sugar and turned into a restaurant as it is today, its actually a Turkish restaurant called Sheesh after you have finished dining you can go upstairs where they have live entertainment in the form of ( international ) soul singing acts as they put it , its really lively and absolutely wall to wall chock filled with Essex birds, gorgeous ones i might add , my eyes were popping out of my head lol, but the missus said it was ok as it was my birthday as long as i looked but didn't touch , the trouble was most of them were out with their fishing rods hoping to hook a wealthy stockbroker type, you would have fitted the bill nicely Raist

Oh Dear, not sure what to make of your post there Jed, but suffice to say i was really grateful to my missus for arranging my birthday treat, its a great venue for dining and dancing lol, great food and service, great crowd and superb entertainment, so was happy to post the link, but if your more used to going to Maccy D's ....................

No probs mate but you know how they always make places look better in photo's, that's not to say that it isn't nice, but definitely looks better in the photo's.
