Sat Nav/bluetooth/audio Problem = Help Appreciated

Hi All

New to the site so forgive any ignorance on my part.

Just bought my first Toyota, its a 2009 Auris 2.2TD SR180, it has a bulit in B9030 (touch screen) Sat Nav/Bluetooth/Audio unit in it, which I believe I have a problem with.

Using the sat nav or bluetooth the voice/sound only comes from the very small speaker on the drivers door & is at a very low volume, I have set the volume to number 7 on the settings, any lower & you cannot hear anything much at all .

Also if I have the radio on when its in sat nav mode the music is not muted when the voice giving directions comes through so its almost impossible to hear the directions even on low music volume.

Also I have noticed that when in audio (radio/cd) & I set the balance all the way to the front & switch from full left to full right balance the sound from the left is far stronger (louder) from the left, like its coming through 2 Speakers on the left but only one on the right.

I am really hoping that this is not how the system is supposed to be & was expecting the sat nav direction voice & bluetooth audio to come through at least two or more Speakers & for the radio/cd to be muted when the sat nav is giving intructions or when receiving a telephone call?

Can anyone please help as to what the problem might be, could it be a faulty audio unit, speaker fault or maybe a wiring issue? - any help would be greatly appreciated, the car still has a couple of months dealer warranty to run on it.

Cheers

Tally

Update - Did some more checking - There is definitely no sound coming from the lower door speaker on the driver side, only the small top speaker has any sound - could this just be a case of a blown lower speaker? - should the sat nav/bluetooth (obviously radio/cd) sound come from both of these front drivers side Speakers hence the low volume? is the lower speaker the larger/more powerful of the two front door Speakers ?

My bluetooth comes out of the drivers lower door speaker only and it is muted when I get a call.
