Hi Guys, haven`t posted for a long time but just thought I would post my latest Aygo purchase experience.

We have had our Aygo Blue 3dr. mmt since March 2008 purchased new. The dear little thing has never missed a beat. This month it was 4 years old and was booked in for a service and MOT. During the morning of its service, we decided to check out prices for a new Aygo along with Mr T`s valuation of our old one.

We rather liked the new Aygo Fire mmt in white with air con. The new price was £10990. We were able to get the price down to £10495 with an offer for our old Aygo Blue of £3500.

Our old "Blue" was in good condition but nowhere near mint with 39000 miles on the clock and a small ding on the passengers door from a very nice person in Morrisons car park.

After ringing around to some of Mr T`s brothers we were able to get the price of a new one down to £10032 from our local Mr. T.

Mr T. also paid to have our old blue MOT`d so we could carry on driving it for a couple of days, then let us have a new Aygo Fire VVT for a week as a courtesy car until our new "Fire" was ready. We also get the first 2 years servicing thrown in along with a full tank of fuel and a set of front Aygo mats and we did not have the old Aygo serviced so saved another £240ish

We are very pleased with the new Aygo and were very surprised to find that it has paddles on the steering wheel for gear changing.

Sounds like a good deal. Good luck for the new Aygo!

What those gear paddles look like, haven't seen those at the dealers yet here in Finland?

Pop some photos up! Looks like you managed to get almost £1000 off which isn't bad.

The paddles look very good, they are curved. The left has a minus and the right has a plus and both are attached to the steering wheel so they go round whilst turning.........does that make sense?

Will try and get some pics, but the weather is not looking good here in the most easterly point of England, so hopefuly in the next couple of days.

Incidentally the salesman was as surprised as we were to see the paddles when we pointed them out to him as we sat in the car for the first time at handover lol

I had seen nothing on the Toyota web site about the paddles and my local Mr T. does not have any brochures on the "Fire" only the "Ice"
