Ipad Photo Editing

Right.

Lots of iPad users here, so I am wondering if anyone has the answer to this .....

Suggestions for an iPad app that will let me edit a photo, and when I say edit, I mean be able to edit parts of a photo e.g paint over a registration plate on a car. And resize a photo, whle still keeping the original aspect ratio.

The app with the best reviews seemed to be PhotoForge2, and was called a photo editor, but whle it looks like it will do lots of things, seems more of a photo "special effects" app, as are just about all of them.

So if anyone has actually got the name of one they have used to edit photos in the kind of way I described, please share

I dont use any editing software on my ipad, but I know somebody who does and he swears by FX Photo Studio HD it gets good customer reviews in the app store, might be worth a look, says you can apply masks and effects to ant part of the image

I installed that, and while it looks a great application, still does not (or I cannot find the option to) do any actual photo editing. It is again all about special effects.

I did manage to do the first part - to obliterate the plate - by using ArtRage, which is a drawing app, but still stuck with resizing issues.

I reckon there is a good market out there with iPad users for an app that does the kind of thing MS Paintbrush does! I am pretty amazed there doesn't seem to be that.
