What Are As Standard

The 0 to 60mph Time ?

The 1/4 Mile Time ?

The BHP ?

What is the best to buy 1st, 2nd then 3rd ? :bookworm:

Stainless Steel Exhaust

Engine Management Chip

K & N Air Filter or Equivelent

What estimate would the BHP be after the above 3 Mods ?

Then I Can Try My Bet TO Avoid :ban:

0-60 .. about 5.5 - 6.0

1/4 .. about 14.0 - 14.5

BHP - Should be 225 .. but can be a lot lower due to age.

What to buy?

A G-valve, a boost guage and an FCD .. all in about £150 .. and then you can pop the boost very easily.

Exhaust - I've gone for a full custom, but Nur & Mongoose are popular.

For an air filter, have a look at the test in the sticky at the top of the MR2 section.

Chip - depends, but a few lads here are @ 270 bhp with a unichip ..

go for a unichip mate.. but get it last after all your other mods. It can also handle and do alot more than you actually think.

Like Bibbs said 275bhp from a rev1 !! Pizzboy has 301bhp from a rev4 ( I think.. maybe a rev3 )

Is it a turbo?

If not the zorst and filter will make it feel more responsive, although probably only give 5-10 more hp

If it is a turbo, then still do filter & zorst first, then onto some kind of boost controller for big grins :D

Along with this it'll probably be worth getting some kind of fuel managment either a chip or a piggy back unit. Oh and you'll probably need an FCD
