Avensis 2012 Facelift Headlights

Just got new facelift 2012 Avensis diesel. Fab car except I find the dipped headlights very bad. I have them adjusted all the way up but still there is a very limited distance visible compared to my other car and previous cars. Anyone else have this issue with the new model? I hear you can get new bulbs like the Philips Extreme or Halfords Brillance bulbs etc. Anyone know if they are any good?

that's disappointing as it's one of the main complaints against the older Avensis too ...

My experience with my T25 is that improved bulbs (Philips Xtreme-Power) made a significant difference to the illumination within the area of the beam pattern but didn't really improve the range of the beam (I suspect that's due to lens design).

Hopefully it's physically easier to change bulbs on a T27 than on a T25 which can be a bit of an ordeal.

I have a 2010 model and i think the lights are very poor, like you a wanted to change the bulds, but your in for one hell of a job getting to them. good luck.
