LOL. No worries on the thread jack, that's how conversations work.

With the lifetime warranty and the location of the factory (10 miles away) I'm content with having the sunroof in. Also, the fact that the iQ is not a daily driver and sits in the garage I'm too worried about the seal.

I have had sunroofs either as factory options or installed at a later time, I even installed one myself back in the 80's, and have not had a leak yet. Then again, the weather here is not even close to what you gents have to deal with over there.

I would have thought a full Webasto is not an option* due to the strength bars in the roof. If you look at the picture below, it looks like the sunroof is fitted between them.

*Unless you want to spend a fortune on strengthening like they do for a roof chop.

Is it me, or does this remind you of the Terminator films?

Yes, When I first saw that picture I thought Terminator head, Just needs red head lights. What the hell is lurking under the panels of our lovely cars! :D
