I have an 57 plate Auris T180, it has the automatic lights, i was wondering if the sensitivity of the lights could be changed to so that they can run all of the time, can anyone help?

Thanks

On the Avensis, the sensor is a small dome on the end of the windscreen de-mister vent in front of the driver, and you could probably just cover it with opaque material to do this, or experiment with materials of different levels of opacity. Partially covering it was black insulation tape would work, and makes it easily reversible.

My lights are on when I start the engine,it was like that since I bought the car (the dealers here do that because the lights must be on during daytime),now, how can I reverse it?

I would like to install drl and to switch them with parking lights,no need for headlights during the day.Can anyone help?

The sensitivity of the auto lights can be adjusted via the toyota diagnostic equipment - i doubt it would result in them being on all the time though.
