If only , peeps within the trade unions are telling us that the Olympics will have the total opposite effect on us, you only have to look at the recent Royal Wedding, everyone within the trade was expecting to make a killing, but it turned out to be the worst week the trade had seen in a long time, i hope the peeps in the know are wrong, they are saying that the gridlocked streets will put off most wanting to travel by road, thousands of Londoners will take their hols during the Olympics and thousands more will be working from home, and if the tourists of today are anything to go by, they'll be seeking out the cheapest means of travel, i'e buses and tubes, which incidentally will be stuffed to bursting point , yet another reason for people to stay away.
