How To Remove Light Scratches From Interior Plastics

Hi

I'm picking up a second hand tourer on Thursday and wondered if anybody had any idea how to get rid of light interior scratches on the door cards? Any help would be appreciated

Hi Carl, not tried this myself but try warming with a hair dryer and buff it up with Armorall plastic protector or ..... I did here vaseline does quite a good job and it won't damage it anyway, worth a go but don't get too much heat on it.

Hi Carl. Had similar problem few weeks ago when I noticed scratches underneath the passenger side glove compartment, in the footwell. My interior trim is black, so I used a black permanent marker pen to very carefully follow the lines of the scratches. Absolutely delighted with the results and scratches are now to all intents and purposes invisible.

Not sure what I would have done had it been a different colour.

Anyway, best of luck. If you are like me, I would not have been able to help myself take notice of them each time I got in the car - sad person!!
