Shuddering Under 2000Rpm In My Avensis

i have a 2004 t3x avensis. below 2000rpm there is a serious rumbling or vibration , the best i can describe it and also the mpg is pretty bad for 1 of these cars. i recently changed an injector afer diagnostics said it was bad but the problem has persisted. this happens in all gears but especially in 5th gear and if im in 5th gear below 2000rpm and put the foot down the car will shake violently. im new to using forums and apologise for lack of great grammar.

i hope somebody out there can help me, its driving me mad because iv always drove diesel and never had this problem and i really like the car.

YOU VE CHANGED ONE INJECTOR ONLY -- BUT HAVE YOU TESTED THREE OTHERS? YOU HAVE NOT STATE

NORMALLY WHEN TAKEN FROM THE CYL HEAD -- ALL INJECTORS MUST BE TESTED ON THE FUEL STAND + CALIBRATED.

2K RPM IS A BOARDER FOR POWER.

IT SEEMS YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING POSSIBLE ISSUES:

- OFER FUELING -- INAQUALD DIESEL PORTION PER CYCLE DUE TO POOR INJECTION;

- EGR TO BE CLEANED FROM CARBON;

- AIR FILTER CLOGGING;

I AM STILLL INCLINED YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH OVER FUELING THAT BRAKES WORKING STROKES IN NEIGHBOR CYLINDERS.

egr and manifold were cleaned recently, did help but didnt rectify the problem. air filter is less than than 2k miles old, checked it yesterday also, still fairly clean.

as for the other injectors, i had a diagnostic done before and after changing of injector number 2 but they were reading ok. iv no idea if this is sufficient testing.

check with output of an alternator -- if voltage plays --this might create playing of SCV. besides -- check with both SCV solenoids coils resistance + compare with repair manual. by the way -- is your turbo in order? it also might be short of boosting air (?). check and come back / cheers / Igor
