Auris 2,0 D4D 1Ad-Ftv With 2Ad-Fhv Ecu Possible?

Hi, i was looking in ToyoDIY.com. and had seen engine heads are the sames. 1ad-ftv and 2ad-fhv. It is possible to start my 2,0 d4d with 2ad-fhv engine ecu and get extra power?

and anybody was swapped avensis 2,2 d-cat brake swap in to AURIS ? 320mm front and 290 rear brake disk looks nice.

Running gear maybe the same but the 2.2 has a particulate filter, where the 2.0 D4D does not. Since it is the 170 BHP output the ECU would soon fry your turbo because its smaller.

Thats of course if you could get it started the Key reprogramme for the ECU would also need doing. Not worth the trouble.

Brake upgrade etc is only worth if you have big power. To get more power you can buy a Plug in chip but dont expect miracles ;)
