Dancing Speedo Needle

Hi guys,

I noticed the other day that between 60 and 80'ish the speedo needle sometime moves really quickly up and down (about the equivalent of 5-8 mph dropping and climbing) on its own, when the car is at a constant speed.

The rev counter stays fixed and constant as you would expect?

What does this mean, out or nout?

It happens generally with age, its not a problem, but can be annoying..

A new speedo cable should sort it out...
