Rite, here's the deal, i'm uprating my suspension very soon (wen i get my next installment of my student loan) and i wos wondering if GMAX springs are any good? I have already decided 2 go 4 Koni dampers but i'm undecided on springs! So GMAX - any good?

And would my suspension add anythin 2 my insurance and if so, at a guess, how much (I'm 19 and on my insurance with my mum, dad and bro)?

Cheers

I had g-max springs on my rover 200 (before i saw the light and bought jap!)

and found them to be very good.

The ride wasn't harsh and the handling was vastly improved

P.I springs are also superb. ;)

Dont think it will make a big difference to your insurance.

You could get Koni springs AND dampers. That's what I've got. Makes more sense to me as you know the dampers and springs will compliment each other...

Hi

save starting a new topic....

I see u have fitted to your car TTE springs fitted on a set of koni shocks and did you replace any of the rubber top mounts, bump stops etc.....

as iam very temped to replace the OE as they seem to soft and might be duff, of course this depends on the £££ are your adjustable.

oh my insurance was no increase in price i told them it was a dealer accessory nit sure what they say if i replace the shocks mind iam an old git now...

Thanks

I just checked with my insurance last week about TTE springs and they're not bothered as they come from Toyota. They would however charge me more for changing dampers... <_<
