Hi Guys new to this forum, Hope you can help me I have the opertunity to buy a Celica GT circa 1993 it is an import with half race engine been stood for 12/18 months I cannot remember the mileage, body work in and out appears ok,

What if anything I should look out for do you think the ecu will work after the vehicle has been stood for so long

I know I may need a new Battery but the engine bit is a bit worrying being a Jap modification. Its none turbo engine Your comments will be gratefully recieved,

Welcome to the boards.

The more prep you do before turning it on the better, eg new oil, plugs, fuel filter etc. If you give the Battery a slow charge you might be able to save it...
