Hi guys,

I am in the process of trying to source a good quality Mister 2. I have found one for sale on one of the owners club boards.

It is a P reg, T-Bar, N/A, full leather, mint condition (from photos anyway).

The price for the car is £6,500. Is it worth it?

I will be traveling over from Ireland to import it back, so I want to be sure.

Thanks.

rev 5 for that money certainly sounds good, why not get someone to have a look over the car before you come over, where is the car based ???

If it's from one of the owners clubs does the club know the person who is selling and maybe you could get some more info on the car from the board ? Am sure someone would be willing to help if they live in the area.

Ireland is notorious for importing written off cars, bodging them back to health and flogging them on .. as the documentation can get lost over there and the UK owner never knows ..

Sorry Bibbs, but it is the other way around. I would be buying the car in the UK and importing a pristine example back to Ireland. But I do agree with you, any examples that I have seen are just not up to the mark.

Rhaines, the car is located in the Birmingham area.

Thanks a lot fellas.

ahh .. sounds better then .. who's the importer? or a private sale?

I'd get someone to have a butchers at it first .. save the costs of coming over to look at a dog ..

Its a private sale from the IMOC site.

Is €6,500 about right?

Thanks.

Is that euro's or ££? 6,500 seems cheap for a rev5 .. they are being imported for 9/10k

Who is the Seller on IMOC (I know quite a few of them)

Posted

It is pounds not euros. The seller is Matt (Don't know second name), and it is Goodwood Green.

I'd do a search for his posts on IMOC (q&a and the mail group) and look and see if he's had problems ..

Who on Earth said it was a rev5??????????

A P reg 96/97, that'll be a rev4.
