Hi,

I have a 99 Corolla. Recently I noticed it has a strange pulling. Every time when I start driving it, it is normal. But after I drive for a while, say 5 mintues, the steering wheel is offcenter to left and the car pulls to right. This happens especially on non-highyway road and under vibration condition. On highway, it seems to be much better(doesn't pull much). I got a left-front flat tire about 8 months ago and had dealer changed the left drive axle a month ago. Is this pulling has anything to do with these? I brought the car to the dealer but they said it is normal. Maybe they didn't drive long enough to notice the pulling. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,

The strange pulling effect you experienced on non-highway is probably something to do with the plain level of the road surface. Road are built sloping down towards the pedestrain walk way for drainage purposes.

I assume yours is a left hand drive corolla. The pedestrain walk way is on your right. That's probably why your car pulls towards the right.

Happy driving.

Although I would agree, it could be the above.

It may also be a difference in tire pressure between tire on left and right side of car.
