Help Adding Freon?

I can not, for the life of me, find where to add the freon to my 2001 Toyota Avensis. I have done it before in previous cars that have been in my family, but I cannot find the spot! The car didn't come with an owners manual either! Can only tell me where the little bugger is?!

check with impulse pipes to/from compressor, especially those go to cabin. normally this spot is on the level of engine cover + one pipe has gas pressure sensor + sight glass. the spot in question is close tho them. regards / Igor

I'm not sure if this will help, I've got the Haynes manual in front of me. It says the 'low pressure service port' on the post-2000 Avensis is on the left-hand side of the engine compartment, between the radiator and the Battery.
