Auto Express have published pictures of what they say will be the new Auris: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/283933/new_toyota_auris_leaked.html?CMP=NLC-Newsletters&uid=4812b8394d3c279185f50e126f0aeb8e

I also saw in the 16th May issue of Autocar that Toyota will be introducing an Auris Estate from late 2013 - built at Burnaston.

But will it be called Auris? :naughty:

Looks like they will retain the Auris name for Europe - http://www.nitrobahn...pact-in-europe/ - although there is a proviso in Toyota's statement ("But the automaker made clear that they have no such plans till now").

Bet it costs more. £19000 plus for a decent spec petrol as with the Focus. Dread to think what a Diesel will cost.

£22.5k for the top spec version I'll guess at.

Let's just hope that they get the engines better for this model in terms of actual MPG & lack of EGR/DPF/DMF/injector/head gasket issues . . . . . . .

The Auris is generally a very good car let down by some rather obvious weaknesses. Sort them & Toyota will be on to a winner !

Supposedly, this is the Wagon:

The use of the BMW engines hopefully will mean no head gasket issue imo and BMW does seem to achieve the figures in terms of MPG.

Only time will tell regarding the other issues

Red diesel
