St205 Parts Into An St202

My mate has a celica gt st202 and is struggling to find performance parts. To me the 3sge engine isnt much different to the 3sgte engines in gt4s. I have told him that he could use parts from a gt4, but not quite sure if it will work like if the parts would fit. Any advise???

You could swap the engines but then you'd struggle to get the power down. Just sell yours and get a GT4 if you want more power. It'll certinaly be cheaper than trying to get decent power from a 3SGE.

What parts are you on about in particular? chargecooler? turbo? brakes?

TBH it will be cheaper in the long run just buying a GT-Four as to run the performance mods on a 3SGE you will need a mapable ECU and a lot of fabrication
