Rear Seat Belt Warning Lights

Just recently the rear seat belt warning lights on the dash take three to four minutes to go out when previously it took only 5 seconds or so. Both rear seat backs are permanently kept flat and the rear seat belts have never been used - any ideas?

For the moment. I can only think that you have something heavy on one of the flat seats thats being transfered through to the pressure sensor in the rear seat and the ECU thinks that there is someone sitting there. Try clipping the seatbelt clips in and see if it goes back to normal. If it does , it must be seing pressure on the pad or the pad is faulty?
