Best Fill Up Yet!

The warmer weather is proving to be very useful for something. My fill up this evening gave me 384 miles for 26.31 ltrs. Thats 66.35 mpg!

Really pleased with that. I reckon that if the AC wasn't on so much because it was so warm early in the week that 70 mpg would be a real possibility.

It depends on your route but yes 70+mpg will be possible in the warmer summer months. The a/c does reduce mpg's if used to excess - especially in town, though using the eco function (assume the Auris has it too) does reduce the a/c output by about 50% so you can keep cool and save mpg's.

If wanting to save fuel I'll normally leave the heater/ac off until I get upto speed otherwise it can really eat into the cold start mpg's.
