Cracked Screen

Hi all!

i've got a really big crack in my windscreen, its was a motorway chip which is getting bigger!!!

Can anyone please advice with the best solution?

will i need a new windscreen or are there any other methods?

go through your insurance and pay the £50. it wont affect your claims either.

either that, or fork out cira £150-200 for a new one...

If the crack is on the move then it's pretty much had it.

Your local Windscreen company will be able to advise you better, but it sounds like it's beyond safe repair.

As Mellow_Yellow said, do it through your insurance. Pretty much all policies have windscreen cover nowadays, and it won't affect your premium like a claim.
