Hi, just ordered and due to recieve my second Aygo, however, I was looking to have a garmin power lead hardwired so as to free up the 12v socket. What I would like to ask is: Is it advisable on a wiring safety point (done by showroom prior to owning the vehicle), will it be a security risk as the lead may be visable to would be passing scumbags and finally is their a possibility of overloading the system if the radio is on an iPhone is being charged and the sat nav is on? any and all advise accepted. Thanks. Dennis.

Why not buy a 12v splitter then you can easily remove evidence of your sat nav, after all windows cost more than most sat navs. :)
