Sr180 Recommended Engine Oil ?

Hi all,

Recently purchased a SR180 and was looking into what engine oil people with the 2.2 D-Cat model use. When i need an oil change i want to make sure the correct viscosity is being used.

Went on National Tyres website and it states they use Castrol edge 5W-30 , go on Castrol site and they recommend 0W-30.

Anyone know what Toyota dealers use ?

Toyota dealers can use what they like as its the correct oil for the engine they put it in.

I suggest Mobil ESP 5w 30.

5w 30 oil. make sure its ACEA C2 spec oil otherwise you will block the dpf in the long run.

Go and buy Toyota own oil and filters u will need 6 litres it's cheaper than Castrol oil too it's 5/30 low ash oil
