What have you bought for your motor that you believe was the best value for money?

As i went in search for some new tyres for my Avensis the other day i was shocked at how much he prices differed from one place to the next. I was looking for some 205/55/16 w tyres and was quoted from £38-£70 for the same brand of tyre.

needles to say i bought the ones for £38 + vat + valve + balance came to £68 each :ffs:

So whats the best deal youve ever had?

few things really

alloys and springs deal, fully fitted etc... for £700

the kit ive just bought off eBay!

my best bud for all the bodywork he does for me, all tit for tat at the end of the day, hardly every changed hard currency with him!
