2004 Avensis D4D Coolant Change

Hello Folks,

I've over 100k miles on my '04 Avensis D4D 2-litre and I'm not certain that the coolant was ever changed at dealer services.

Can anyone give me (or provide a link to) an idiot's step-by-step guide for draining and refilling/bleeding the cooling system on this car?

It's the main family car and I don't want to wreck it by doing a botched DIY job - the wife would have me shot at dawn!

Any help much appreciated.

For my 2004 D-D avensis, I use the Corolla Haynes manual ... it covers the same engine and so far has been spot on for all jobs I've attended to.

Thanks for the tip. I've noticed a distinct lack of Haynes Manuals for the 'facelift' Avensis.

That being so, I'll get the Corolla manual until they publish one for the Avensis (whenever/if ever that may be)!
