Hi, went to the local dealers last week, with concerns about the 2.2 AD head gasket issues. The oil level was checked and topped up and I was told to take the car back after 1000 miles to be checked again. I'm reading on here that the test should be over 600 miles, confused.com?

it shouldn't really matter although it will be easier to be more accurate over the larger distance.

shouldn't that be 1000k which is around 600 miles, normally Toyota data sheets refer to kilometers, maybe the dealer is ....... "Confused.Com" .
