Thinking Of Swapping My Rav 4 For An Auris

Hi Guys

Having owned several Rav's I think it's about time I Downgraded, £270 Road Tax only 30MPG Etc.

We realy like the Auris, I Have been looking at two both £8k ish

1) 2009 20 D-4D TR 24k Miles (silver)

2) 2009 1.6 V-Matic TR 20k Miles (Dark Grey)

Both at Toyota Dealers.

As we only cover about 5k Miles a year and prefer Autos so we are drawn to the V-Matic (what do you think?) Are they any good?

Not knowing much about the Auris Is there anything I should look out for?

Your Help would be most welcome.

Thanks Alan.

I have the valvematic engine its cracking. If you're only doing 5k a year I would steer clear of a diesel engine

You say you prefer Autos. Is the I.6. an auto?. If so its known as an M.M.T gearbox .

I would test drive it first as people either love them or hate them. A search of this forum under M.M.T. may provide helpful reading.
