Hopefully it'll just be another fuse or few blown.

Otherwise you've possibly sent a lot of electronics to silicon heaven and a trip to a scrapyard will be in order. (I imagine the cost of buying all those from Mr. T would be more than the value of a 1999 car.)

You have checked BOTH fuseboxes? The one under the bonnet and the one under the dash?

OK, either there are no electronics involved in starting and running the engine, or they have not been damaged. That's not a big deal.

I'm puzzled by the reversing light not working. On older cars at least that's usually just fed from a switch on the gearbox and I wouldn't expect that to have any electronics involved. (Just checked my Aygo and Yaris diagrams and they are indeed both 'hardwired'.) So I'm still thinking fuse on that.

Are you sure you really have checked ALL your fuses? Bear in mind that smaller sets of fuses are sometimes fed by bigger fuses (or fusible links) buried away somewhere else? You may need a wiring diagram to find them. And you need to remove each fuse and check it with a meter or tester - don't test in situ or just by looking.

If your fuses really are all OK then either something else has failed (and I have no idea what) or you've blown a lot of electronics up.

The passenger compartment fusebox has a 10A fuse which controls:

reversing light

charging light

instrument cluster

indicators.

and central locking.

Those are in your list of things not working......... so It's THAT fuse.

The fuse is labelled "GAUGE".(See front of fusebox for location)

You should also check:

HAZ

in the same fusebox.

The DOME 16A fusebox in the engine compartment controls:

Instruments, Interior light, multi display, audio system and central locking.

Sounds like you have blown that too.

Also check AM2. in the engine fusebox.
