Oh okay, what about the rest of the intake pipes? Because the throttle body is going to be bigger now so I need to attach bigger pipes to it dont I? Or shall I use a reducer but then it will suck in less air through the pipes I have now. Confused lol

Id leave the intake pipe. It is big enough to flow enough air for the tb and inlet :)

Thanks man I will leave them then :)

Where can I get reducers and the rubber hose/piping from? I have some blue rubber hose/pipe that came with my intake as you can see Steven252 from the photos I supplied you on TOC!. I want the same as that as it flexible rubber/silicone and goes easily around metal intake pipes

Yeah I would really appreciate that mate, so would I have to order a 72mm silicone hose to fit the avensis throttle body?

Cheers guys :)

Where did you get the piping from phatali?

I have found some on eBay but I'm not sure if the pipe is going to stretch a little

Thanks mate, just waiting for the parts to arrive so I can fit it all :D

hopefully the 4zz ecu adjusts to it all nicely and runs perfect or it could all be a waste of money lol

Just a pre warning. The car will idle like crap as soon as you put it on. Mine was rev hinting between 2-3k for a good 50 miles then 1.5-2k for a futher 50 miles, then finally sorted itself out lol

Oh okay, how about if I reset the ecu and go for a good thrashing?

I'm just hoping the ecu likes this mod and doesnt go into a fit lol

I'm also going to take the bumper off and route a cold air feed to the intake, might even go for a decat haha

Lol forgot to ask how do I fit the injectors without causing any damage to them? Is there some kind of special way?

Thanks again :)

I had a huge problem as I kept nipping the O rings as I put the injectors into the rail. Be VERY careful when you do this, I had fuel pouring out like crazy and had no fire extinguisher, yes I did poo my pants.

I would suggest get some new O rings and grommet that sits in the block.

Also I did use the injector cleaner just a few times so I know that they are deffo clean. But up to you dude.

Thanks man, where can I get the right O ring seals and grommets from?

Also an update - my injectors arrived today :D

waiting for the inlet manifold and throttle body to arrive, will go and buy a gasket too.

Or you can fit them the correct way which is;

Remove old injectors,

Use long nose pliers and remove the rubber bung from the cylinder head,

Place rubber bung onto 1zz injector,

Then carefully fit the complete fuel rail back in

Wont damage them at all that way :)
