Castrol Edge 5W30 - Is It Suitable For My 2007 Verso

Hi all, does anybody know if this oil is ok to use in my 2007 2.2 Diesel Verso (SR). I put my reg number in to Castrols website and this is the oil it recommended, but now I've bought a small amount of it and checked the specs I'm not so sure. It says ACEA C3 on the bottle, but in my handbook it says to use B1. I don't think my model Verso has the DPF(not completely sure though).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your engine has DPF it will definitely need a different oil so before going any further find out if your vehicle has such a filter.

Enter your reg in here just like the Castrol site and have look in the Rav4 section and see what they`re using.

According to my AutoData check, your car needs 5W-30 oil with CF/B1 or B3 specification so I think that the website is wrong.

Cheers everybody. Put my reg number into the Morris site and it came back with

I guess you all rate Morris oil highly then, I've seen it mentioned in a few places?
