Retrofit Cruise Control On A T4 03 Reg

Hello All,

This is my first post. I have sold my LS430 in search for a petrol estate/tourer and have come up with the Avensis as a possible contender. The budget is upto 5-6k but from looking at Autotrader I should be able to get one for less than that.

I have done a bit of research on cruise control and which vehicles has it as an option. Most of the info was from Parkers. http://www.parkers.c...2003/equipment/

Which variants actually have it as standard and is the Parkers website true? According to Parkers T-spirit and T180 have it as standard but the T3-X, T4 and TR have it as an option. Does this mean the T3-X, T4 and TR could have it retrofitted at a later date? Would the wiring loom have the connections in place?

Any help would be useful as I do need to get this sorted pretty sharpish.
