Power Steering

can anyone help, My aygo power steering light comes on and off .ive had it in the garage and they told me only toyota garages can sort it out. most of the time its no trouble but will it get worse or cause other damage, also just had to have a new clutch so it becomming a very costly little car.

All you need to do is start the engine and unplug the Black Plug (one nearest to left of box when facing steering wheel)leave out for 5 secs and plug back in. This resets the unit and will stop the light. It is mostly caused by a low Battery and system needs to be manually reset as above to work.
