I had one on the old Verso for a bit, if you turned it up she really flew. But they are quite crude in there design, there are many threads on TOC about the different types. Kingo sells a range that has a bit more comeback if you dont like it, i.e a money back guarantee in 14 days IIRC.

My car had done 40k and when you floored it there was a lot of smoke, this actually exposed the wear in the injectors and they ended up being replaced. But the MPG was improved and it would have paid for itself after 10,000 miles.

I dont know if the 1.4 can be remapped a lot of the D4D ECU's cant be cracked.

Yes, I have one on my 1.4 TD.

As said I've cranked up the settings, it does make a difference but understand the car will never be a rocket ship.

Would I buy it again? Yes

Has MPG suffered? No

I got it from the same site as you've put, the one in Germany - they're service was great.

Take a look at the very well respected TUNIT boxes. They've had good reviews!

TUNIT are regarded as one of the best around.

I have a Race Chip box and the results speak for themselves.

They aren't your results, they are the people selling the box!

Correct, and I don't doubt them - the difference made by the box is huge. I wouldn't drive without it now!

I have 2 TUNIT boxes running on my cars! An Avensis T180 estate and a VW Polo TDi. Both have had a marked improvement in mpg and bhp! but they dont come cheap! but worth it used...
