Hi,

Want to install a set of rear parking sensors on my Avensis 1.8 VVT-i TR 4dr 2008

There are a lot of options where one has to drill holes in the rear bumper but this particular one has to be attached to the number plate and hence no holes (maybe one behind the number plate). Can any of you share your experiences if you have installed one of these or have seen their performance on any other car..??

Please share if you have any other sensor options.!!

Thanks in Advance

Sidd

the only problem with attaching to the number plate is if the plate is on a tailgate or boot lid its more akward to run the wires to the controll box from the sensors

I had the parking dynamics one in my car.The connector got corroded and was very flaky after 1 year of use.

I have removed it now and went for the 4 sensor one from ...bay.

Been using mine for three years in my Mazda, with no issues, when you install the metal strip inside the bumper, it is good to spray silicone or something similar to make it weather tight.
