Im having a bit of trouble imagining what this wire and 3 way switch will look like any one got a piccy :ffs: ??

as in wiring diagram or physical picture of the switch its self?

What i have basically done is modify the existing circuit, basically a +12V pulse is sent down a wire, which stops the motor at that point, thats how the "hold" function works as toyota intended. Basically what i added was a reed switch (a switch that makes when a magnet is but next to it - switch in the body magnet in the light) and a on off switch to cut the affect of the reed switch, i.e. enabling the lights to go back down propely....

SO, as the lights go down (with the on/off switch ON) the reed switch and magnet meet, causing the switch to make the circuit, and the motors stop. Flash your lights and they go down back up and back down to where they were, same if you turn your lights on (although obviously not down again:))

If peeps really want me to i can draw up a diagram and sort of how to when i get some spare time..

youll need:

- Reed switch/magnet (RS part numbers: 361-7011 - magnet / 361-4933 - reed switch)(RS)

- toggle switch (on/off)

- sutable wire...

- few crimpsa nd tools....

Ill try and do a how to later if i get time.

But those are the switches i went for, but more interesting

(Left one turns the lazy eye function on/off - right turns the head lamps on with the side lights B) )
