Yaris 05 Steering

Hi,

New to this and new to Toyota…I have just bought a 05 1.0 vvti colour collection 3dr for my wife, I have had the car back to the garage 3 times now and still the problem is there they have told be this a how the Yaris is due to electric steering.

I test drove the same type of car only difference was 5000k on the clock at another garage and the steering was fine

So here is my problem if you turn the wheel whist driving left or right (10 & 2 O’clock position) the wheel will stick there and not auto correct back to central 12 o’clock position is this normal ……I would say not!

Thanks.....yeah already read that post, sounds very like my issue, just looking to see if anyone else has the same issue and a fix as that one does not say if the steering column replacement actually resolved this can only guess that it did

I am so sick of Toyota on this one
